TITLE: KILLING THE PARROT: LIVING WHAT YOU KNOW 6.5 CEU
In our day to day practice, it is tempting to fall into robotic habits of scaling and polishing, brushing and flossing over and over. Old routines no longer serve the needs of today’s patient or the growth of the practice.
This case-based course incorporates caries management, periodontal disease manifestations, effective coding for insurance, new diagnostic tools and treatment options. Many other aspects of clinical practice needed to reconstitute a clinician’s education into relevant, productive and exhilarating day-to day excellence are presented. The course also addresses ethics, infection control, periodontal disease, even a little CPR and with humor.
Key concepts covered:
· Discovering current evidence
· Identifying red flag clues from health histories
· Discovering patient-focused diagnostics
· Formulating a plan for every visit …and MORE
